Overview

​The table overview offers an organized overview of all certificates within the selected folder, including any sub-folders (if they exist). The columns in this table provide a concise summary containing essantial details for each registered certificate.

Description

The Certificates-module is a core component of a safety management system designed for maritime vessels. It serves the purpose of managing and tracking various certificates and documentation required for the safe and legal operation of vessels. This function enables the vessel, and shipping company, to efficiently organize, retrieve, update, and ensure the validity of certificates related to the vessel, and compliance with maritime regulations.

Renew

This function allows users to renew a certificate by clicking the icon (only applicable to certificates with a expiry date).

Number

A unique identification number for the certificate.

Type

The type or category of the certificate.

Name

The name associated with the certificate.

Expiry date

The date on which the certificate is set to expire.

Next revision date

Enables the users to specify the next scheduled revision date for a certificate.

Status

Users can check the current status of a certificate, such as whether it is active, expired, or pending renewal.

Usage

This Certificate-module and its associated functions streamline the process of managing certificates by allowing users to track, update, and monitor key certificate-related information, ensuring compliance, timely renewals, and efficient management of certificates within the organization and their vessel(s).


Detailed view

The individual certificate detailed view presents a structured representation of a specific certificate, providing comprehensive information and options related to that certificate. This view offers an in-depth look into the details and actions associated with the selected certificate.


When you access the detailed view of an certificate, it provides additional options and information about the individual certificate.
These options are:

Placement

Allows users to specify the digital location of the certificate within the Certificate-module's structure.

Description

Enables users to add or modify a brief description or notes associated with the certificate.

Accesses

Users can define and modify access permissions for the certificate, specifying who can view or manage it.

Expiry settings (on/off)

Allows users to enable or disable expiry settings for the certificate.

Alert type

Allows users to modify the alert type. There will be a range of alert types to choose from, and each one has their own unique warning threshold and alert notification (managed within the "Admin Settings").

Multiple expiry dates (on/off)

Users can enable or disable the management of multiple expiry dates for the certificate.

Attachments

Allows users to attach additional files or documents related to the certificate.
