The table overview in the "Drills" module provides a structured and organized display of all drills. It presents essential information in columns, including drill intervals, due dates, last performed dates, and current status. This layout enables users to easily track and manage drill schedules, ensuring compliance and readiness.


Description

The Drills module serves a vital role within the safety management system for maritime operations. Its primary purpose is to plan, organize, track, and document safety drills and exercises conducted on board the vessel. This module is essential for ensuring the preparedness, safety, and compliance of maritime operations by systematically managing drills and emergency response training.

Name

The name or title of the drill, specifying the type of drill or exercise to be conducted (e.g., fire drill, man overboard drill).

Interval

Indicates the planned frequency or time-based interval at which the drill should be conducted (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually).

Days until expiry

Displays the number of days remaining until the next scheduled occurrence of the drill, providing a proactive indicator for upcoming drills.

Last performed

Records the date on which the drill was last executed and documented, offering historical context and ensuring that drills are conducted on schedule.

Status

Represents the current state or condition of the drill (e.g., OK, Expiring, Expired), reflecting its progress within the drill lifecycle.

Actions

Provides options for users to perform various actions related to the drill, such as initiating the drill, documenting outcomes, or scheduling the next occurrence.

Detailed view

The detailed view of an individual drill within the Drill module. This view offers comprehensive information and various options related to that specific drill, and goes in-depth of the drill's details and associated actions.
When you access the detailed view of the individual drill, it provides additional options and information about the individual drill.
These options are:

Placement

Indicates the specific location of the drill within the Drill module structure

Description

Provides additional details, instructions, or objectives related to the specific drill, offering clarity on the purpose and scope of the exercise.

Form

This will connect any digital form or checklist with the drill, to ensure necessary steps, tasks, or actions is followed during the drill for proper documentation purposes.

Access

Specifies the access permissions, and who is responsible for overseeing the drill.

Alert type

Allows users to modify the alert type. There will be a range of alert types to choose from, and each one has their own unique warning threshold and alert notification (managed within the "Admin Settings").

Attachments

Allows users to attach relevant files, documents, or resources to the drill, providing additional reference materials or guidelines to enhance the drill's effectiveness and understanding.
