Release Notes – February 2026

February’s release is focused on workflow improvements rather than new features or large‑scale rewrites.

The goal is to make CCOM X easier and more efficient to work with—supporting smoother daily routines, fewer interruptions, and reduced friction in common tasks such as dropdowns, forms, and follow‑ups.

By removing unnecessary complexity from everyday workflows, this release helps you spend more time operating vessels—and less time managing the system.

🌟 New Features

🔍 Search in Every Dropdown

You can now search inside every dropdown that contains custom system values, across all modules, including the list of available departments.


Why it matters:
  1. No more scrolling through long lists of departments, components, roles, or values
  2. Faster data entry, especially onboard
  3. Less frustration and fewer misclicks


▦ Improved Layout and Full‑Screen Support in Trip‑Based Shift & Manning

The TBSM module now features a cleaner layout with reduced white space for better readability. Full‑screen view has also been enabled across all tabs in the Trip View for a more focused working experience.



📊 Filters That Remember You

CCOM X now automatically saves your filters in all tables.

This means:
  1. Your preferred views stay exactly as you left them
  2. No need to reapply filters every time you return
  3. Faster access to your working context

The system now remembers how you work — not the other way around.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Improvements

⚙️ General

  1. Attachments styling updated for better consistency


  1. Corrected button naming when opening drafts: “Perform” is now “Complete perform”
  2. User profiles have been updated with information about required competencies.

⚓ Work & Rest

  1. Fixed issues where sign-off period candidates were not removed correctly after changes to planned activities
  2. Restored missing due list items in Work Schedules
  3. Added support for additional time-based due list items

👥 Shift & Manning (ABSM / TBSM)

  1. Fixed issues where crew lists were not printing correctly
    2. InfoOnly current personnel onboard are now included

🛠️ Maintenance

  1. Fixed cases where maintenance admins could not perform jobs through multi-perform when their role, position, or position group was not set as responsible
  2. Resolved extreme slowness when editing or viewing maintenance jobs.
  3. Runtime is no longer required when registering a corrective action
  4. You can now see the current due date and run time directly while performing a job.


📄 Documents

  1. Added print preview — you can now see how documents will look before printing

📋 Reports & Tasks

  1. Report descriptions are now labeled “Short description” and intended for brief text (up to 140 characters)
    1. Alert
      Full descriptions should be entered in the form


  2. The Description field in Subtasks now automatically expands while typing
  3. "Traffic lights” no longer appear on already closed reports

🛒 Purchase & Order

  1. Deleted supplier products no longer appear in supplier lists

⚙️ System & Performance

  1. Broad improvements to enhance overall system performance and better flow
  2. Firewall updates and general infrastructure hardening
