Setup

The system's risk assessment module must be configured correctly before it can be used effectively. Within the risk assessment section, the user must populate several menus with necessary data. These menus are:
  1. Structure
  2. Hazards
  3. Consequences
  4. Locations
  5. Mitigating Measures
  6. Operation Types

Structure

Establish a menu structure that includes folders, as necessary, to categorize and store various risk assessments. This structure aims to offer users a clear and improved overview of the risk assessments, making them easier to locate based on the level of detail in the structure.

Hazards

The "Hazard"-section allows the administators to categorize various types of hazards that may be encountered in a given environment, process, or activity. This section serves as a comprehensive database for identifying potential risks and ensuring the safety of individuals, property, and operations.

Consequences

The "Consequence" section of a Risk Assessment module plays a crucial role in assessing and categorizing the potential outcomes or effects that may result from identified hazards or risks. Users populate this section with various types of consequences to gain a comprehensive understanding of the impact and severity associated with each risk.

Location

The "Locations" section in a Risk Assessment module helps users note and categorize the different places on a vessel where they need to assess risks. This section makes it easy to specify where potential dangers should be evaluated.

Mitigating Measures

In the "Mitigating Measures" section the users document the steps they are able to take for makeing the operation safer. This section is all about outlining the actions that reduce risks and improve safety.

Operation Types

The "Operation Type" section is where users specify and categorize the different types of activities or operations for which they are assessing risks. This section can help in clarifying the specific tasks or functions that need to be evaluated for potential hazards and safety concerns.
