Overview
The "Trips"-tab will give you a detailed/summarized list for every crew memeber for a specific voyage/trip. This must be assigned to each crew memeber during new "Planned Activities" process.
Procedure
Start a new planned activity from the "Planned Activities"-tab as usual. In this example, I will create a list of 5 crew members for an upcoming voyage and assign them to a specific "Trip" for better organization within the system for future reference.
Step 1 - Plan New Activity
Complete the remainder of the new planned activity as usual, and then select the desired crew member for this activity.
Step 2 - "Trips" overview
Upon creating the new planned activity, the system will automatically generate a corresponding entry in the "Trips" tab. This entry will be named according to the designation entered into the "Trip"-field during the creation of the new planned activity.
Detailed view
Details for the planned activity/trip. List of crew memeber assigned to the planned acitivity/trip. Trip has not started yet, so "Status"-column remains "Not confirmed".
Step 3 - Adding more crew members to existing "Trip"
Once the "Trip" is added into the system, you have the flexibility to include additional crew members if there are instances of oversight or unexpected changes in crew management. Start from Step 1.
When you click on the "Trip"-field, a dropdown list will appear showing existing "Trip"-entries that you can select from. However, you still have the option to manually enter a name for a completely new list if needed. Choose the existing "Trip" (April/May) from the list and select the new crew member(s) to add. When everything is in order click on "Save".
Checking the eisting "Trip" to see if the desired crew member has been added:
Newly added crew memeber is on the existing "Trip"-list.
