This update includes a major overhaul in the logic for Access settings under the Maintenance module, updates to the Due List, extended functionality for the Drills module, as well as a decent amount of bug fixes.
π‘ Feature updates
Maintenance
We've clarified and updated the Access settings for maintenance jobs with improved logic;
"Contact" is now properly renamed "Responsible" β the job positions and/or job position groups listed here will be responsible for performing or overseeing the given maintenance job. Only people listed as "Responsible" will get notifications when the maintenance job is due, as well as see it in the due list.
Warning: Although this field is now required, it was previously optional, which means that some setups may still have this field blank for certain maintenance jobs.
During a transition period, if this field is left blank, anyone with access to the given maintenance job (if listed in the βAccessβ field, or if this is also left blank, anyone with general access to the Maintenance module) will get notifications about the maintenance job, see the maintenance job in the due list, and be able to perform this maintenance job in CCOM X. This is a temporary measure to allow customers to adjust to this change.
The "Access" field will restrict the job positions and job position groups who will have access to see this maintenance job. This field is optional, and if left blank, anyone with proper privileges will be able view details for this maintenance job.
π Improvements
General
Navigating back from an object (such as a task, competence, maintenance job, etc.) will return you to the list page you were previously on, instead of the first page of the list.
Due List
The due lists will now have an extra column showing the contact person or responsible job positions (or job position groups) for certain items and tasks, if available.
It is now possible to filter the due list on the object type (maintenance job, document, drills, tasks, certificates, etc.).
Drills
We've extended the functionality of related objects to also include Drills.
π Bug Fixes
General
The list of alert types on an object will now correctly show only alerts available to that specific module.
Attachments are now available for preview (as well as download).
We are now making sure a user can't change the file extension (file type) by accident when renaming an attachment.
We have resolved several issues with a 404 error message showing up on some older browsers.
This also includes links from e-mail messages that previously showed error messages on older systems.
Various minor bug fixes related to access to multiple departments.
Admin Settings β Users & PAX
Resolved a visual bug showing the incorrect job position in user list.
Sorting the user list by department should now work properly.
User Competences
Incorrectly showing an attachment symbol on competences where the user has an equivalent or higher competence.
