Module Administrators Are Here – Manage with Full Control
This release marks another exciting step forward in giving you more control, flexibility, and precision within the system. The highlight of this update is the brand-new Administrator for Modules feature — empowering you to assign dedicated administrators for specific modules such as Maintenance, Documents, Reporting, Storage, and Medicine. This means more efficient management, clearer ownership, and enhanced access control across your operations.
Alongside this, we’ve introduced a series of improvements designed to make your experience smoother and more intuitive — from interface refinements and better naming conventions to smarter default settings and meaningful adjustments in labels. Every change contributes to a system that grows with your operational needs.
🌟New Features
Administator for modules
You can now assign administrators for specific modules: Maintenance, Documents, Reporting, Storage, and Medicine. Administrators will have full access and management capabilities for their assigned modules, ensuring better oversight and flexibility.
To gain administrator access for a module, please contact support. Access can only be granted by the product owner.
We’ve updated the naming in the menu section — “Ship” has been changed to “Department” — reflecting a broader and more inclusive terminology aligned with our diverse customer base.
Improved work flow in Work & Rest module
We have improved work flow for smoother registering. The improvements include following changes:
- Merged screens in the "assign Work Plan" flow, so everything is visible immediately.
- Showing the timebars for all chosen personnel.
- Made it possible to easily detect breaches for employees while planning.
- Possibility to expand employees to see multiple days with potential breach.
- Allow saving the plan for people with a breach.
- Moved the "Assign following Work Schedules" to the end of the screen as the logical last step of the process.
🛠 Additional Updates & Enhancements
General
- The scrollbar is now wider and more visible.
Certificates
- Expiry settings for certificates are now activated by default when creating a new certificate.
Maintenance
- You can now set text restrictions for maintenance job descriptions, defining both the required and maximum number of characters.
Risk Assessment
- Improved terminology for better clarity:
- “Severity” has been renamed to “Consequence.”
- Indicator letters have been updated for consistency and better understanding.
Work & Rest – Improved Workflow
We’ve redesigned the workflow in the Work & Rest module to make registering and planning smoother and more intuitive. Following changes have been implemented:
- Merged screens in the “Assign Work Plan” process so that all information is visible immediately.
- Timebars are now displayed for all selected personnel.
- Improved breach detection makes it easier to spot potential rest violations while planning.
- You can now expand an employee’s view to see multiple days and identify potential breaches.
- It’s now possible to save plans that include employees with breaches for further adjustments.
- The assigning of following Work Schedules step has been moved to the end of the process — a more logical and natural flow.
- Improved layout in the User Schedule overview for a clearer and more consistent view of planned shifts.
Purchase
You can now add customized SFI codes to every order line, improving classification and traceability in your purchase orders.
🐞Bug Fixes
Shift & Manning
- The trip number now displays the correct personnel in the IMO crew list report.
Work & Rest
- Fixed an issue where the last 30 minutes of a work plan were incorrectly registered as rest.
- The date of birth now correctly appears on related documents.
- Fixed validation in the work plan so that future working hours are now displayed correctly.
Drills
- It is now possible to open a draft without having privileges to create new drills.
Maintenance
- Fixed an issue where the component history failed to load due to large amounts of data.
