The display of an individual trip is divided into 5 main areas:
- Details: This is the initial page you land on, and shows information that was entered when creating the trip, or later edited.
- Crew: This section contains the crew list for the trip where you may add, change, and/or remove crew attached to this trip. For more details, see also Crew on a trip.
- PAX: This section contains the list of passengers on this trip. Passengers available to be added here must first be added in the "Users & PAX" section of the "Admin Settings" area.
- Competence Matrix: An overview of the competence coverage (in accordance with competence requirements for this department/vessel) using the selected crew. See also Competence matrix for Planned Activities for more details on competence matrices.
- Change Log: An overview of all changes made to the trip. This includes changes to details (including dates/times and status), the crew list, and the passenger list.
Editing trip details

To edit/update a trip, your user must have the necessary privileges for this module set on your job position.
Common scenarios/reasons for changing trip details:
- Change description (with more details).
- Change start or end date/time.
- Change status for the trip to Active/Inactive/Completed.
All fields that were filled during the creation of the trip can be edited.
Once the necessary changes have been made, remember to save the changes by clicking the "Save" button on the top right.
Make a trip active

Only 1 trip can be set as the active trip at any given time. If you want to make another trip active, you'll first need to make sure no other trips has the Active status.
By setting the status of a trip to Active, you will be asked if you also want to change the start date and time to the current date and time. This will mean that the trip starts at the exact time you change its status, and the crew reports will also reflect this.
Complete a trip
By setting the status of a trip to Completed, you will be asked if you also want to change the end date/time to the current date and time. This will mean that the trip has ended at the exact time you change its status, and the crew reports will also reflect this.
