Pause Functionality

Pause Functionality

The Pause function is a feature intended to help with tasks/jobs running continually, that should not be counted when the crew is not aboard.
To this end the pause function allows us to pause all counting of intervalls, hindering them from updating and becoming outdated earlier than expected.
This effectively means we can stop the counters when we are away from the vessel.

We can schedule pauses for a department or module.
All tasks/jobs will have this enabled as standard.
Individual tasks/jobs can be paused manually on each task.

Idea
If you want to pause an individual task you can use Show the pause overview column in the module to easily see what tasks will be paused or not.

This will be shown in the Pause with Dept. column.
  1. Yes means it will be paused with the module/department
  2. No means it will not be paused with the module/department
Alert
Objects in the Certificate and Medicine modules will NOT be paused
